Always careful to minimise damages to the environment and to health, Cantina Mingazzini has now increased its range with Organic Wines.
These wines come out from grapes cultivated on not treated soils, where only natural fertilizers and anti-parasitics are used. Our wines come from Abruzzo, one of the main interesting italian regions for organic wine production.

Soil: medium clay soil
Analytical data: dry red wine
Alcohol volume: 12,5 % Vol.
Production area: Orsogna (Chieti)
Altitude: 492-820 ft. a.s.l
Max grape production: 15 tons/hectare
Crushing: the bunches are picked by hand. Red fermentation is achieved through the prolonged maceration for 2 weeks
Storage: stainless steel tanks

Organoleptic properties

Color: intense ruby red with purple hues
Bouquet: intense, vinous, wide bouquet with a delicate aroma of violet.
Taste: dry, harmonious, crisp, slightly tannic, with a pleasantly bitterish aftertaste.
Wine maker’s suggestion:
match with cold cuts, roasted and grilled red meats and game.
Serving temperature: 16-18° C.

Wine maker’s suggestion:
a wine for all occasion as an apetizer or at the meal. Perfect with canapés, light main courses or fish, light meats and cheeses.
Serving temperature: 7-9° C.
